Goals Training Workshops

Recolo is skilled at devising bespoke training for both teams and organisations, in order to fulfil the developmental needs of their staff.

Training can be delivered on or off-site and we’re very experienced in working with both publicly and privately-funded clients.

Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS)

Every child, every young person, every family and every injury is different.

This level of complexity often requires the delivery of a bespoke and creative rehabilitation programme. The need to demonstrate progress and outcomes in rehabilitation is very important and, in a cost-driven market, the ability to measure the effect of therapeutic treatment is a vital element in the argument to show both cost effectiveness and a return on investment for rehabilitation work. Goal setting enables a rigorous approach to define and measure individual changes within interventions.

Client focused goals are key to good engagement as they focus on the areas of change that are important to the client and so form an essential part of rehabilitation. At Recolo, we therefore use goals and Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) routinely in our neuropsychological rehabilitation.

Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) is an evidence-based practice tool that helps measure and manage goal progression within neurorehabilitation. It provides useful validity of regulated rehabilitation, encouraging cost-effective input.

We are delighted to offer Client Focused Goals training workshops to rehabilitation professionals. Our workshops incorporate Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS), as a clinically proven and UKROC recognised practice tool, to help health professionals create goals for greater developmental progress and cost-effective rehabilitation input.

We offer interactive workshops, tailored to your organisation’s needs, at these levels:

  • Level 1: Beginner – An introduction to Goals and Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS)
  • Level 2: Advanced – Using GAS to craft focussed rehabilitation plans

The workshops will benefit any case managers, psychologists and therapists working in rehabilitation with a desire to set client-centred rehabilitation goals and to measure and demonstrate outcomes.
